The Milby Name That Book team placed 3rd today in the Name That Book Competition held at M.C. Williams middle school.
The schools who advanced to the final round after the preliminary rounds are: HSPVA, Carnegie, Bellaire, Lamar, DeBakey and Milby.
Milby tied third with Bellaire at the end of 5 rounds. This caused Milby to go into a tie breaker round, beating Bellaire after the second question and emerging victorious. Congratulations to Ms. Verdin and the Name That Book team!
